Structurally the pneumatic actuators ПЗ consist of the pneumatic cylinder and a complete set of additional devices, including the operation and control elements for the position of the actuator’s rod (pneumatic or electrical devices).

  •        Pneumatic cylinder (pneumocylinder).

The pneumatic cylinder provides the movement of the rod from one limit position to the other one. The rod of the pneumatic cylinder is connected rigidly to the spindle of the closure and passes the force to the wedge part of the closure. For increase of the force, passed by the rod, the two- and three-piston pneumatic cylinders are applied, which are made as a single construction of the multiple-piston pneumatic cylinder.

The pneumatic cylinder is equipped with the manual alternate and the air distributor.

The manual alternate provides emergency control of the drive by the absence of the pneumatic power supply of the power system.

The air distributor allows changing the position of the drives’ rod independently from the presence of control signals.

  •        Complete set of additional devices

The constituent parts of the complete set of additional devices are placed on panels (one or two), which are fastened on side surfaces of the pneumatic cylinder.

Depending on the order, the complete set of additional devices can include:

– pneumatic or electro-pneumatic distributors;

– pneumatic, electrical or inductive limit switches;

– explosion-protected connecting box;

– air pressure filter-stabilizer.
