Application

 

Cutoff valves type КО are stationary elements of automated control systems for technological processes and they are meant for installation on pipelines with the aim of providing two-position control (open and closed) of the working medium flow.

ü    Рабочая среда: liquids and gases, which are not aggressive to the materials of the valve’s parts, which directly touch them.

ü      Working medium temperature: from minus 60 °C up to plus 565 °C.

ü      Port area: DN15, … , DN500.

ü      Conventional pressure: PN6, … , PN250.

 

Characteristics

 

  Straightway valves with the pneumatic (PM), electrical (EM) or manual (MM) executive mechanism (drive).

  Rod seal – gland seal.

  Connection to the pipeline – flanged. Connecting dimensions according to GOST 12815-80.

  Types of executive mechanisms:

– pneumatic: pneumatic membrane-spring executive mechanism MEM1, pneumatic piston executive mechanism МИП or pneumatic drive PD;

– electrical: electrical forward trace executive mechanism.

  Action type of the valves with the pneumatic drive: normally-open (NO) and normally-closed (NC).

  The type of gasket in the closure: 

– MM (metal on metal) – the leak-proofness in the closure is provided by conical surfaces with the built-up welding with wear-resistant material;

–  ME (metal on elastomer) the leak-proofness in the closure is provided by flat surfaces with the application of fluoroplastic -4 as elastomer.

–  MC (metal ceramic) – the leak-proofness in the closure is provided by conical surfaces with the built-up welding with metal ceramic materials.

–  EE (elastomer on elastomer) – the leak-proofness in the closure is provided by the surfaces with the application of fluoroplastic -4 as elastomer.

–  WC (wedge closure) – the leak-proofness in the closure is provided by the metal wedge piece and the seat, located on-the-miter to each other.

  Leak-proofness grade: А or В according to GOST 9544-2005.

  The sound level, created by the valves, doesn’t exceed 80 dB·A.

  By the customer’s order the valves can be supplied with the cooling (heating) jacket of the cutoff body.

The material of the basic parts, which directly touch the medium controlled, correspond to the material of the body, excluding the products with the material codes of the body and the yoke 1 and 4, in which the parts of the closure are made of steel 12Х18Н9(10)Т.
